Upgrading C14 Green: Armageddon

Don't freyt, today we're going to go over some awesome upgrades for your Green Commander 2014 Deck: Guided by Nature. OK, so Wizards may have been telling us something by giving us 23 Elf creatures, and oh yeah, an Elf-producing planeswalker. Obviously this deck is a great start to an Elf-tribal deck. However, that's too easy. Sure, we'll talk about Elf upgrades later, but first I want to explore this little gem:

Elves are cool and all, but I what can be sweeter than killing my opponents with lands? Let's build a lands matter deck with Titania, Protector of Argoth as our Commander! To extract maximum value, we'll need sacrifice outlets and ways to recur our lands.

Recur Lands

With Crucible of the Worlds we can simply play lands out of our graveyard, so we can keep making 5/3s as quickly as we can play/sacrifice our lands.

Sacrifice Outlets

Zuran Orb is the most reliable sacrifice outlet here since you can pitch all your lands and make mini-Thragtusks with Titania, Protector of Argoth in play. For ultimate lulz, you can even use Squirrel Wrangler to beat your opponents with an army of cuddly squirrels. If you're going deep, you may want to add Deranged Hermit.

Play More Lands

With a sacrifice outlet and a way to recur lands, the only limit to 5/3 world domination is how fast we can play our lands. One per turn is boring. Use some of these to accelerate your land drops. I do not recommend the Alex Bertoncini method of acceleration.

Self-Sacrificing Lands

Luckily for us, we don't even need a dedicated sacrifice outlet. Many lands sacrifice themselves! Luckily for us, they even give us bonus utility!

Land Tutors

Looking for a way to dig up your utility lands? If you Crop Rotation into a Lotus Vale, that's 3 sacrifice triggers for 1-mana!

Cool Lands Bro

With all of these cool lands in our deck and so many lands coming into play, here are some cool cards to take advantage of all the Landfall triggers. Nissa, Worldwaker makes your lands into creatures so that you can get Titania triggers when they die on combat. And if you ultimate her, you can put (almost) all the lands in your deck into play!

Scumbag Steve Special

And if you really want to be mean... rather than sacrificing your lands, you can sacrifice your opponents! But wait, you need seven untapped druids to make this happen. Where can we get these from? Luckily for us, Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury makes Elf Druids.

One Does Not Simply Win With Elves

OK, so maybe you don't like beating people with Lands and you really just want overrun your friends with Elves. What can we do?

Big Elves

Ezuri, Renegade Leader does a pretty good job pumping your Elves (while looking like Elrond), but we can add some more pump effects:

Big Mana

Green is about big mana, and this deck is no different. Here are some awesome mana-producers to help out your Elves.

Once you have infinite Elves and infinite mana, what can you do? Here are some potential curve-toppers.
