The Least Balanced Cycles in the History of Magic: the Gathering
Magic: the Gathering is a game built around five colors with each color having different strengths and weaknesses. As such, cycles - groups of five or sometimes ten cards where each color or color combination gets one cards in the cycle - are some of the most interesting designed in Magic. Ideally when Wizards prints a cycle the cards will all be of a similar power level, but in practice this doesn't always happen. Some cycles are not only unbalanced, but hilariously unbalanced. Those cycles will be our focus today as we look at the least balanced cycles in the history of Magic: the Gathering.
