Against the Odds: Teaching Arena Zoomers About Emrakul and Chalice (Timeless)
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another edition of Against the Odds! Today, we're heading to Timeless to hand out some more life lessons to Arena Zoomers, this time about the flying spaghetti monster Emrakul, the World Anew and Chalice of the Void! Emrakul, the World Anew is an interesting card. It's incredibly powerful, but at 12 mana, it's almost impossible to hard-cast. But that's not our plan today. Instead, our deck is built to madness Emrakul for just six mana as consistently and quickly as possible with the help of cards like Key to the City and Geier Reach Sanitarium. Meanwhile, Chalice of the Void is one of my all-time favorite lock pieces, and now, thanks to Ugin's Labyrinth, we can cast it as early as Turn 1 to lock one-drops out of the game, which can beat some decks by itself! How good is Emrakul if you can consistently madness it? Is Chalice of the Void back thanks to Ugin's Labyrinth? Let's find out!
