Single Scoop: The Great Antiquities War (Explorer, Magic Arena)
Gameplan
It's time for me to revisit one of my worst speculations in Magic the Gathering, The Antiquities War! I tried to spike so many tournaments with this card and now it's time we spike the ladder with it! Of course, we've got my favorite demon to play from back then, Herald of Anguish. Both of these cards pair quite nicely with all of our cheap artifacts! Either we falcon punch somebody with our saga or slowly attrition out our opponents with a threat that can't be killed with Fatal Push or a single burn spell!
Cheap artifacts like these two generate us two mana for our Herald and allows us to expedite the demon onto the board. Of course, if the demon is answered or can't be found, hopefully we can find The Antiquities War to close out the game in a few turns!
Conclusion
I do believe there are tons of better artifact decks, but this was the most fun to me. It's a trip down memory lane so I had to see if we can score some wins with it. It's by no means a tier deck and often a bit too slow and fragile in 2022, but holy heck is great when it pops off!
